As Oy Lappeenrannan Näyttämö
Lappeenranta

Lappeenranta Exhibitions’ architectural plan was based on a design competition in 2014, which was won by Jatke Oy’s proposal “Villman” by AS&H. Completed in October 2018, the property is centrally located close to the shore of Lake Saimaa. It is a lively city-centre entity whose motto is the city of Lappeenranta’s vision: “a lively, clean and safe Lappeenranta is good for people of all ages”.

The architectural idea was to combine the buildings on the plot with one another using a roof. The facades were treated as a masonry surface that breathes into the urban landscape, textured with colours, as well as flowing in and out of the building. The projecting balcony facades broaden the view. The living areas are spacious and bright, and all apartments and facilities are accessible. In addition to the urban location, several apartments offer beautiful views of the Saimaa coastline.
